Although there was a decrease in the effective power rate for August 2025 in the Generation Charge and Government Revenue and Mandated Charges, an increase in the Transmission Charges due to higher Power Delivery Service Charge for the month led to a final rate 0.1151 pesos/kWh higher compared to July 2025 Power Rate.
Despite changes in the Monthly Power Rate, ZAMECO II’s revenue (Distribution, Supply and Metering charges) has remained unchanged since February 2011, in accordance with ERC Case No. 2009-126 RC. The variations in the Monthly Power Rate are primarily driven by changes in Generation Charges, which are pass-through costs.
