Electric Coops Send Technical Support to Pangasinan
Lineworkers from various electric cooperatives join forces under Task Force Kapatid to assist in power restoration efforts in Pangasinan

π Power Restoration Support
The Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA) and the National Electrification Administration (NEA) deployed lineworkers to aid the Pangasinan I Electric Cooperative (PANELCO I) in power restoration operations.
π€ Task Force Kapatid
These lineworkers are part of the NEA-PHILRECA-EC Task Force Kapatid β a special group formed by electric cooperative regional organizations in coordination with NEA and PHILRECA, dedicated to assisting electric coops in calamity-hit areas.
π§βπ§ Cooperatives Responding
- Three member coops of the Central Luzon Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (CLECA) sent a total of 20 lineworkers to Pangasinan after Typhoon ‘Emong’ and the southwest monsoon.
- On Monday, July 28, 2025, the following coops deployed personnel:
- ZAMECO I: 4 lineworkers
- ZAMECO II: 6 lineworkers
- PENELCO: 10 lineworkers
- On Sunday, July 27, 2025, Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (INEC) also sent 7 lineworkers to PANELCO I.

Pangasinan III Electric Cooperative (PANELCO III), Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO), and 11 other CLECA members remain on standby, ready to provide further assistance if needed.
