There is a decrease in the effective power rate for October 2025, primarily due to lower power generation cost. This reduction affected the Generation Charge, Government Revenue and Mandated Charges. Moreover, the Transmission Charge also decrease due to lower Delivery Service Charge for the month. As a result, the final rate dropped to ₱6.71 /kWh on October 2025 from ₱8.25 in September 2025.

Despite changes in the Monthly Power Rate, ZAMECO II’s revenue (Distribution, Supply and Metering charges) has remained unchanged since February 2011, in accordance with ERC Case No. 2009-126 RC. The variations in the Monthly Power Rate are primarily driven by changes in Generation Charges, which are pass-through costs.
