RA 9994 – Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010
Alam mo ba na may 5% diskwento sa buwanang konsumo ng tubig at kuryente ang mga senior citizen? Ayon sa batas na ito:
SEC. 4. Privileges for the Senior Citizens
“(c) the grant of a minimum of five percent (5%) discount relative to the monthly utilization of water and electricity supplied by the public utilities:

👉 Provided, that the individual meters for the foregoing utilities are registered in the name of the senior citizen residing therein.
👉 Provided, further, that the monthly consumption does not exceed 100 kWh (electricity) and 30 m³ (water).
👉 Provided, furthermore, that the privilege is granted per household regardless of the number of senior citizens residing therein.”
📝 Mga Requirements:
- 📇 Senior Citizen ID (Patunay ng Edad)
- 📍 Barangay Clearance (Patunay ng Tirahan)
- 🧾 Kopya ng Billing Statement (SOA – kahit anong buwan)
- 📸 1 pirasong 2×2 picture
- 📝 Authorization Letter + Valid ID kung representative ang magpoproseso
⚠️ Mga Kondisyon:
- Dapat nakapangalan sa senior citizen ang metro/account.
- Ang konsumo kada buwan ay hindi hihigit sa 100 kWh.
- Isang senior lamang kada household ang maaaring makinabang.
- Taun-taong pagrerehistro sa ZAMECO II para sa renewal ng diskwento.
- Dapat ay isang taon na nakapangalan sa senior citizen ang account bago mag-apply.
✅ Ang diskwento ay awtomatikong maibabawas kung lahat ng kondisyon ay natugunan.
